Lindsay Duncan will player former British prime minster Margaret Thatcher in a new television show entitled MARGARET. The BBC Two show will see the 57-year-old actress, who has starred in the shows ROME and SPOOKS, assume the role of Thatcher and will focus on the final year of her leadership which ended in her resignation.
A second drama is also being produced by the company behind the project, Great Meadow Productions. That special will focus on Thatcher's early years and will air on BBC Four.
