HANCOCK, the new superhero movie will hit TV screens in 2010 on the FX channel according to Variety.

The trade says that the license for the show will span four years, beginning late in 2010, and FX will put up more than $20 million if moviegoers flock to the multiplexes. The formula covers a payout of about 12% of the domestic box office, with a cap if the movie goes well above $200 million.

HANCOCK is released in theaters around the globe today (July 2).
