Cropper coming back to Coronation Street

Coronation Street favourite Hayley Cropper is to return to our screens after a twelve month break. Cropper, who is played by Julie Hesmondalgh, will return to the Street later this year, according to sources at the Daily Mirror. Julie left the show in 2007 after she became exhausted from the gruelling filming schedule.

"Julie just wanted to take time off and do normal things like take her daughter to school." The source said.

" Re-charging her batteries and being a mum was top of the agenda." They added.

It is thought that Julie will return to screens this coming September.
