Duffy has been awarded the best album award at this years Brit awards
which were dished out in London on Wednesday. She bagged the Brit for
her LP Rockferry.
The Mastercard award, the biggest award on the night, saw Coldplay, The
Ting Tings, Elbow, Radiohead and Duffy nominated in the category.
Duffy bagged the gong as this year's ceremony drew to a close. She won three awards in total on the night.
The award was presented to her by fellow Welshman Sir Tom Jones.

Girls Aloud have won the Best British Single award at this year's
Brits. The award was presented at the awards bash in London by
Celebrity Ding Dong and The Sunday Night Project presenter Alan Carr.

It is thought that the inspiration will be taken from the original album and music video, which was directed by Hollywood helmer John Landis. It will use music from the albums Thriller and Off The Wall.
The original Thriller vid saw Jackson transform into a werewolf while out on a date.

the superb Snow Patrol cover 'Run'. The track easily entered the charts
at the number one position with 131,593 copies downloaded since Monday
last week.
The track kicked Take That's Greatest Day from the top spot and gives the former X Factor winner her third UK number one.
