Zak Penn, X-MEN: THE LAST STAND, is to adapt THE DIRTY DOZEN for todays movie audiences. Penn is rewriting the screenplay for producer Joel Silver and Warner Brothers, so says trade paper Variety.
Penn will go back and rewrite the screenplay, originally written by Scott Rosenberg and Andre Nemec and Josh Appelbaum.
The 1967 original that starred Lee Marvin, revolved around a major who conscripts twelve
