Val Kilmer and rapper turned actor Xzibit have joined the cast of the remake of THE BAD LIEUTENANT. The two join Nicolas Cage, who plays a cop on the edge, originally played by Harvey Keitel in the 1992 Abel Ferarra original.
Kilmer will play his partner, while Xzibit is
playing a nemesis named Big Fade, so reports Variety.
Werner Herzog directs the remake.
