The full title of the upcoming X-FILES movie sequel has been revealed. According to the show's creator Chris Carter, the film, due in cinemas this coming summer, will be called THE X-FILES: I WANT TO BELIEVE.

Speaking to The Associated Press, Carter said: "It's a natural title,"

"It's a story that involves the difficulties in mediating faith and science. 'I Want to Believe.' It really does suggest Mulder's struggle with his faith."

The film hits cinemas on July 25th.
