The world premiere of the big-screen version of the hit TV series SEX AND THE CITY has taken place in, no not New York, but London, England. The four main stars of the movie, Sarah-Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis took to the red carpet in the city's Leicester Square on Monday evening (May 12th, 2008).
Parker, who reprises her role as Carrie Bradshaw in the new movie, turned up at the premiere wearing a pale
green dress by British designer Alexander McQueen and a spectacular
green headpiece of flowers by Philip Treacy.
Kim Cattrall, who plays sex-mad Samantha Jones, turned up wearing a red,
knee-length dress with a stripe by Vivienne Westwood.
And fans of Mr. Big, who is played by Chris Noth in the show and in the movie, were left disappointed as he failed to show for Monday's bash.
SEX AND THE CITY hits UK cinemas from May 28th.
