The weekend box-office stats are in for the three-day US box office (estimates) and it looks like a horror movie has topped the charts, quite a change for the middle of April. PROM NIGHT scored an impressive $22.7 million in box-office revenue across the United States this past weekend, edging out the Keanu Reeves cop thriller STREET KINGS which also debut, albeit with a lot less, nearly half in fact - $12 million est.
The Kevin Spacey blackjack drama 21 held on to third spot taking another $11 million over the three days - the film based on the best-selling novel Bringing Down The House has made a total of $62.3 million in Stateside takings.
Here's how the rest fared.
