Screen beauties Keira Knightley and Gwyneth Paltrow are to team up to star in a new big-screen version of KING LEAR, so reports the Daily Telegraph.
The new film may also see Welsh actor Sir Anthony Hopkins take the title role. The $35 million epic will see Knightley play Cordelia and Paltrow play the king's other daughter Regan. The story revolves around Lear's decision to divide his kingdom amongst his three daughters depending on how well they praise him. No news on who will play the third daughter.
The new movie is set to feat epic battle sequences and should kick into production later in the year.
