Well, by the power of bleedin' Grayskull. It seems that Joel Silver's HE-MAN movie has a director (finally) attached to it. According to the ever reliable source that is Latino Review, KUNG FU PANDA helmer Kevin Stevenson will take the reigns to direct the film for Warner Brothers.

Apparently Stevenson recently pitched an insane idea to the studio, who subsequently dug it, and brought him on board. My guessing is that this puppy will start shooting next year for a Summer 2010 release. We'll keep you up to date on it.
