Following the resolution of the writer's strike out in Hollywood, the official news today is that Warner Brothers are pushing ahead with their JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA movie. Despite yesterday's news that the production was all set to move to Canada, trade paper Variety reports that director George Miller is hard at work in pre-production in Australia. All of the cast have apparently been told to trim up and get into shape for their superhero roles, and Kieran and Michelle Mulroney are busy polishing the script.
Adam Brody has been cast as the Flash, while hip-hop star Common is playing the Green Lantern, with Armie Hammer Jr. playing Batman and Megan Gale playing Wonder Woman.
The movie is all set for a summer 2009 debut.
