Lionsgate have released the first two images from the Frank Miller (SIN CITY) directed comic book adaptation of Will Eisner's THE SPIRIT. The movie stars Samuel L. Jackson as The
Octopus and Scarlett Johansson as Silken Floss, both pictured. Gabriel Macht, Eva
Mendes, Sarah Paulson, Paz Vega, Jaime King, Dan Lauria, Stana Katic,
Johnny Simmons and Louis Lombardi also star in the movie, which is due in theaters next January.
