Dreamworks picks up 'King Doug' for Stiller

rade paper Variety are reporting that Dreamworks as acquired the rights to the book THE RETURN OF KING DOUG as a vehicle for Ben Stiller to star in and produce. The trade says that the book, written by Greg Orb and Jason Oremland, isn't actually released until next year, but the pair have already been tapped to write a screenplay.

Stiller will produce the film through his Red Hour Films production company along with Stuart Cornfeld and Jeremy Kramer.
