Hollywood actor Johnny Depp reportedly saved six extras on the set of his new movie, the Michael Mann directed flick PUBLIC ENEMIES. The PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN star reportedly jumped in front of a 1933 Ford after the stunt driver lost control.
"Johnny slammed into the group with arms outspread, shoving them all back." A source told the News of the World newspaper in the UK.
The movie also stars Christian Bale and Billy Crudup. Depp plays the character of John Dillinger in the film, helmed by Mann, the director responsible for such films as MIAMI VICE, ALI and HEAT.
