Film director Uwe Boll has promised to quit making movies if an online movie poll receives 1 million signatures. Boll, responsible for films like ALONE IN THE DARK and HOUSE OF THE DEAD, was interviewed by FEARnet, and said that he was aware of the poll which requests that he quits directing films.
The petition currently has 18,000 digital signatures. "Yeah, I know [about the petition]. 18,000 is not enough to convince me," He said in the interview.
When asked how many he replied: "One million. Now we have a new goal."
Boll's films are ranked in the 'bottom half' of most all time movie polls and the aforementioned two flick reside in the IMDB's bottom 100 of all time.
