A sad day as another one of the British greats has passed. Mike Reid,
star of the British soap Eastenders and films that included Guy
Ritchie's SNATCH, died of a suspected heart attack at his home in
Spain. The former comedian also starred in episodes on DOCTOR WHO and
MINDER. He even worked as a stuntman in the classics THE MAGNIFICENT
SEVEN and SPARTACUS.
Here's the BBC report.
His agent David Hahn told the BBC his death came as a great shock as he had been in very good health.
He said: "Mike was in fine fettle. In fact only a couple of weeks ago we were having dinner over here.
"Mike that particular day went to see his consultant and had a full medical - and they gave him a clean bill of health."
