Terrence Howard is not bitter about losing out on the role of Jim
Rhodes in the now shooting IRON MAN 2. Howard lost the gig in the
second movie after falling out with the producers, but it seems that
the actor will keep the plot of the sequel under wraps.

***image1*** Kyle and I had a good laugh the other day while talking about the
marketing campaign for the new actioneer, "12 Rounds". Our fearless
music guru thought it was a riot that in the trailer for this recent
release, the marketing team goes out of their way to say; "From the
director of Die Hard 2!". What makes this statement so funny? Well,
"Die Hard 2" came out way back in 1990. Director Renny Harlin has gone
on to make other films since then, but aside from "Cliffhanger", you'd
be hard pressed to name one that's worth a damn (for the record, I'm
not a fan of the cult fave "Long Kiss Goodnight"). How's Harlin's
latest effort? Well, it's safe to say that when Renny sets out to make
his next film, the marketing team won't use; "From the director of "12
Rounds!" in their marketing campaign.

It's taken a very long time for this graphic novel from Alan Moore
and Dave Gibbons to make it to the big screen. In that time, film
makers like Paul Greengrass ("The Bourne Supremacy" and "United 93")
have taken a whack at it, but the property proved to be a tough nut to
crack. Ultimately, it would be "300" helmer Zack Snyder who would be
given the reigns and while this visual stylist has certainly earned
street cred amongst the movie geek crowd, the big screen adaptation of
"Watchmen" proves to be a mixed bag.

In a word. No. Well, that's what the folks at New York Magazine have
said. Rourke was allegedly offered just $250,000 to play the villain in
the next IRON MAN movie, which is being directed once again by Jon
Favreau.
"Right now, we're not doing Iron Man 2," Rourke told the magazine.
What he is doing however is Sylvester Stallone's new movie THE
EXPENDABLES, in which he stars opposite Jason Statham, Danny Terjo and
Stallone himself. That flick starts shooting soon, so may interfere
with the possibilty of him appaearing in IRON MAN 2.

Aint It Cool are reporting that Seth Rogen's GREEN HORNET movie is definitely still on. The reason? Well, Adam Sandler is apparently in it!
Here's the scoop:
Two different people in the industry told me that Adam Sandler
has a brief but key role in the movie as a certain surprise
superhero...I heard which one, too, but I don't want to ruin it.
Sandler and Rogen have another project together as well.)
