The late television presenter Mark Speight left two suicide notes, it was revealed in an inquest held Wednesday. Speight, presenter of children's TV show SMart, was found dead in an office building next to Paddington station in London. It was later reported that he had hung himself after going missing six days earlier.
One suicide not was found on the star's person, and the other in his London flat.
The inquest was opened and adjourned at Westminster Coroner's Court today (April 16).
As he adjourned the case, Inner West London Coroner Dr Paul Knapman said: “The full circumstances will be explored
at the resumption of the inquest in what appears to have been a double
tragedy and the date will be Tuesday, May 20, 2008.”
