Tragic British television presenter Mark Speight hung himself with his own shoelaces, reports say following the inquest into his death. Speight was found in a building near to London's Paddington station last month, just three months after the death of his girlfriend Natasha Collins.

It was reported that he first tried to hang himself with his belt, but it broke under is weight. He is then said to have used the laces from his trainers.

Recording a suicide verdict, Westminster Coroner Dr Paul Knapman said: "Clearly he was so devastated by the loss of Natasha that at this time he could not contemplate life without her. What a tragedy."
