Pop superstar Madonna has caused another upset - by swearing during a live broadcast on the BBC. The HARD CANDY star was heard uttering the f-word twice during Saturday's airing of Radio 1's Big Weekend. She performed a number of tracks during her 40 minute set, including her current number one 4 Minutes, alongside a projected image of Justin Timberlake.
Madonna introduced her track Hung Up to the Maidstone crowd, saying: "You guys are going to have to start f***ing it up out there 'cos I need to feel some love. I'm going to do an old song. But not too old. F**k the present. Let's live in the past." She said.
Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe apoligised for the outburst shortly afterwards.
It is not the first time Madonna has landed the BBC in hot water. The Queen of Pop swore during her performance on last year's Live Earth broadcast.
The BBC confirmed that they had received complaints following the airing of the show.
