Hogan wins latest divorce row

A judge has ruled HULK HOGAN no longer has to give his estranged wife $4.2
million (£2.1 million) to buy an apartment in Las Vegas.
 
The pair has been embroiled in a bitter war of words since Linda Bollea filed
for divorce from Hogan - real name Terry Bollea - last November (07) after 23
years of marriage.
 
At a hearing in April (08), Hogan was ordered to hand over the cash to Linda
to finalise the buy, which they had been in the process of purchasing when he
was hit with divorce papers.
 
But on Thursday (14Aug08), a Florida judge ruled Bollea was no longer bound
to the sale.
 
Hogan's attorney, David Houston tells E! News, "We are thrilled that the
judge did not require us to continue to engage in the folly of purchasing a
$4.2 million condo at a time when we should be considering other matters."
 
Houston claims Hogan was also given the right to reside in a beach house
which had previously been the sole reserve of Linda.
 
A deal was also made, Houston said, "to substantially reduce Hulk's required
monthly payments to Linda."
 
He adds, "We believe the court injected a dose of reality into a contested
litigation and feel that we have started down the road to resolution."
 Linda Bollea's attorneys have yet to comment on the ruling.
