LATEST: Rapper DMX has had his bail bond revoked following his latest arrest on
Thursday (14Aug08).
 
The troubled star, real name Earl Simmons, was taken into custody by police
in Miami, Florida after a warrant for his arrest was issued on Tuesday
(12Aug08). A judge issued the warrant after he missed a court date stemming
from drug charges in Arizona.
 
DMX's bail was initially set at $25,000 (£12,500), but when his lawyer Brad
Cohen attempted to free him from a Florida jail on Friday (15Aug08), he
discovered it had been changed. The star is now listed as having no bail hold,
according to website TMZ.com.
 
The arrest was the rapper's sixth in 2008 alone.
 
If Cohen fails to resolve the matter, DMX will have to remain behind bars
until his court hearing on 2 October (08) in relation to a drug possession
charge.
