Director Joe Carnahan is planning to make a straight-to-dvd prequel to his successful ensemble action-thriller SMOKIN' ACES. The move follows a hugely successful run of the original DVD in the US.
Carnahan posted the following on his official blog:
"Whatever reluctance I have is alleviated by the fact that we can really do this balls out, hardcore prequel and not be constrained by ratings or any other puritanical MPAA bullsh*t. That I love."
