Buena Vista Pictures have announced the full title for the sequel to the box-office smash NATIONAL TREASURE. The second movie will be entitled NATIONAL TREASURE: THE BOOK OF SECRETS, and will revolve around the 18 pages that are missing from John Wilkes Booth's (who assassinated Abraham Lincoln) library.
Uber-producer Jerry Bruckheimer is producing the sequel and Nicolas Cage is to return to the role of Benjamin Franklin.
Justin Bartha, Diane Kruger, Jon Voight and Harvey Keitel are also among the cast for the flick, which is once again helmed by Jon Turteltaub.
The film is set to kick off shooting soon for a December 21 2007 release.
