Star Jada Pinkett Smith has donated million to her high school, Baltimore School for the Arts. She will have a new school named after her. She had wanted to christened it after fellow classmate Tupac Shakur who was murdered in 1996. Donald Hicken from the Theatre development says, “It means a lot when you’re a teacher and your most famous alumnus comes back to give a donation. It really says a lot to the community that the school matters in people’s lives.”
The donation is from the Will and Jada Smith Family Foundation which is based in Baltimore and is used for renovation and expansion.
