Opera singer Paul Potts has won the very first BRITAIN'S GOT TALENT contest in the UK. Potts beat off competition from six year old singer Connie Talbot, Damon Scott, who performed alongside his monkey puppet, singer Bessie Cursons, street dancers The Kombat Breakers, and the Bar Wizards.
Potts bags 100,000 GBP for winning the contest, and gets a lucrative spot at this year's Royal Variety Performance.
