The Hollywood Reporter are reporting that William Hurt has joined the cast of Louis Letterier's THE INCREDIBLE HULK. He joins the already cast Edward Norton, who stars as David Banner/ Hulk, and Liv Tyler, who is playing Betty Ross.
Hurt will play Gen. Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross, the man who has dedicated his life to capturing the Hulk. The character is also father to Betty Ross.
Brit Tim Roth is also cast in the project. He plays the villain Emil Blonsky/the Abomination.
Shooting on the film is set to kick off in Canada in the summer from a screenplay by Zak Penn.
