Sources this morning are suggesting that Hollywood actress Jennifer Aniston is to follow in the footsteps of ex-husband Brad Pitt and pop star Madonna to adopt a child.

A source at The National Enquirer in the US said: "Jennifer would still love to have children biologically someday, but she feels burned out on relationships right now and isn't looking forward to dating again."

The paper added: "She's 37, and adopting a child would be a way to put some roots down without feeling desperate about the future. She says she'd love to have a son, that's what she's feeling in her heart."

Aniston split from Pitt and then was reported to be dating her THE BREAK-UP co-star Vince Vaughn. They split late last year.
