Alec Baldwin has spoken about his ex-wife, Kim Basinger on Larry King's talk show in the United States. Baldwin and Basinger haven't spoken since they split back in 2000, and have had a bitter divorce and custody battle since, but it seems that the mist is clearing.

Talking to King, Baldwin said; "My ex-wife was somebody who was funny and she was fun... and she was a lot of fun to be with.

"She was a great, great person. And then all of a sudden I think we just wanted to live different lives.

"But I think she's a great mother, yes, good mom."
