Folks
from JoBlo got wind from a scooper about possible
casting for Robert Rodriguez's portion of "Grind House". Latest
rumours bring Josh Brolin, Freddy Rodriguez and Jeff Fahey
along previously speculated Michael Biehn and Marley Shelton.
Harry
Potter book 6 has been named the year's number 1 by the British Book Awards,
held on March 29th. Author Rowling told press and attendees that the last entry
in the series was coming along on schedule.
Freddy
Prinze Jr. signed to co-star opposite writer-director Vanessa Parisse for
"Dick and Jane v. the World", not to be confused with the classic
George Segal-Jane Fonda classic, nor its remake starring Jim Carrey. The story
sees square guy Dick fall for his free-spirited Roommate Jane, a lady with too
big a secret. Filming starts this May in LA.
Die
Hard 4.0 seems to be surfacing again, with recent rumors of Justin Timberlake
being pushed by star Bruce Willis to play his son. The folks at Moviesonline
claim the story to have McLane and son involved in a terrorist plot. They also
hint at production taking place in Willis's beloved Montreal.
Hinting
at her own comeback on the horizon, actress Michelle Pfeiffer is rumoured
to be in talks to join John Travolta and friends on the "Hairspray"
redo. The lady isn't unfamiliar to singing duties, having pierced the screen as
a sultry songstress in "The Fabulous Baker Boys".
The
Hollywood Reporter drove a final stake in the heart for fans of "Arrested
Development", bringing news that series star Jeffrey Tambor has signed
on for a new NBC sitcom to premiere in the fall. Recent hopes that Showtime might
pick up the series to carry it on are therefore undeniably crushed.
