Well,
it's the day before we get to see who has been nominated for Oscar this year,
and in fine tradition, we have received word as to what has been given the nod
for the worst of the year. It's GOLDEN RASBERRY time! 
Tom
Cruise has been nominated for his role in WAR OF THE WORLDS (was he really that
bad), but the big winner/ loser is SON OF THE MASK, the sequel to the hit Jim
Carrey movie, that starred Jamie Kennedy. The film bagged eight nominations. Other
films to be nominated in that category were THE DUKES OF HAZZARD, DEUCE BIGALOW:
EUROPEAN GIGOLO, DIRTY LOVE (which was written by Playboy babe Jenny McCarthy)
and the Paris Hilton starrer HOUSE OF WAX. Joining
Mr. Cruise in the worst actor category is Jamie Kennedy for SON OF THE MASK, Will
Ferrell for BEWITCHED, Rob Schneider for DEUCE BIGALOW: EUROPEAN GIGOLO, and The
Rock for DOOM. Worst
actress nods went to Jessica Alba for FANTASTIC FOUR and INTO THE BLUE, Hilary
Duff for CHEAPER BY THE DOZEN 2 and THE PERFECT MAN, Jennifer Lopez for MONSTER
IN LAW, Jeny McCarthy for DIRTY LOVE and Tara Reid for ALONE IN THE DARK. For
