'Crash' sweeps SAG awardsThe Screen Actors Guild awards were dished out last night and CRASH walked away with the top award, the ensemble cast gong, beating the much mooted and hugely successful BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN.

Best Actor went to Phillip Seymour Hoffman and Best Actress to Reese Witherspoon for the Johnny Cash biopic WALK THE LINE. Rachel Weisz picked up the best supporting actress award for her wonderful performance in THE CONSTANT GARDENER and Paul Giamatti picked up the best supporting actor gong for CINDERELLA MAN.

LOST and DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES swept the board in the television acting categories.

Looks like all of the fields have been blown wide open ahead of the Oscar nominations, which are announced in Los Angeles tomorrow morning.
