Okay, there seems to be a little confusion over this one. Most of the press got
it right, a few translated the story incorrectly. As we clearly stated, The Michael
Hutchence Biopic is as of yet UNTITLED. Nick Egan IS the Director.
It
is NOT called I, Lucifer.
That is a seperate film adapted from
the book of the same name by Glen Duncan, and that the producers also developed.
(And we expect news on that in the coming weeks).
It looks like
one of the media outlets ran with their interpretation and everyone else just
cut and pasted. Though not our error, we apologize for the confusion.

The
team that developed 'I, Lucifer,' producing partners Richard Hewitt and Clark
Westerman, have partnered with director, Nick Egan, and Todd Gilmer Prods regarding
an as of yet untitled Michael Hutchence biopic. The well missed, departed INXS
frontman and Egan were good pals. Egan designed the INXS "X" album cover,
directed videos for the band, as well as vids for Kylie, Oasis, Bon Jovi, Rancid,
and Alanis Morissette and Duran Duran.
Westerman's
UK production company, Shooting Stars London Ltd, has also fleshed out a psychological
thriller entitled 'Second Acts.' SA is loosely based on Frank Baum's public domain
classic, 'The Wizard of Oz.' In a nutshell, the projects' lead protag novelist,
Sean Phelan, has an incompletion problem... he never finishes his novels. Now
a myriad of unfinished characters are sliding into the real world and they are
not happy with their maker - Sean. No word yet on talent for this.
Producer,
Rodney Wilson (upcoming 'Ballentine') is chatting up Michael Madsen to onboard
his teen horror thriller, "The Dare". Dare sees a group of teens breaking
into their private schools' headmasters' mansion to steal his rumored possession
- the original copy of The Book of The Dead.
