New
trailers for 'Transamerica' and 'The Matador' Posted

The
Weinstein Co. have been good enough to provide The Hollywood News with a couple
of new trailers from two of their upcoming releases, THE MATADOR (which features
Pierce Brosnan as a bi-sexual hitman) and TRANSAMERICA, a movie that received
critical acclaim at some of this years festivals.
Transamerica
comes out in theaters on December 2nd in NY/LA and expand on December 23rd.
Bree
is a perfectly adjusted conservative transsexual woman. Born Stanely, a genetic
male, she's about to take the final step to becoming the woman Stanley always
wanted to be - until she finds out that she is the parent of a long-lost 17 year-old
son. Afraid to tell the rebellious teenager the truth, Bree embarks on a journey
with him that will challenge and change both their lives and bring them closer
to the truth of their connection.
TRANSAMERICA is a funny, touching, completely
modern look at the modern American family, starring Emmy award winner Felicity
Huffman and Kevin Zegers.
Matador
comes out in theaters on December 23rd in NY/LA and expands on January 6th.
In
writer/director Richard Shepard's dark comedy THE MATADOR, Julian Noble (Pierce
Brosnan) is a hit man who's very good at what he does, but is losing his taste
for the business. Danny is a salesman whose marriage and finances are in trouble.
One night, at the hotel bar, these two men meet. Before long, they find themselves
having an extremely unique Mexico City experience, one that will change them both
forever. Julian the hit man, Danny the ordinary American businessman find that
while they have nothing in common, they both need each other in ways they never
knew they would.
