Tom Cruise's girlfriend Katie Holmes is being tapped to star in the new Mission Impossible film. She will most likely play Cruise's love interest which shouldn't be a surprise since they're currently dating.

Lindsay Lohan and Scarlett Johansson were previously attached to the film. Cruise will next be seen in Steven Spielberg's "War of the Worlds" and Holmes will be seen in "Batman Begins".
