'Brokeback Mountain' is PGA's Best Picture

The Producers Guild of America have named Ang Lee's BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN as the best picture of 2005, beating out competition from GOOD NIGHT AND GOOD LUCK, CAPOTE, WALK THE LINE and CRASH.

The award is possibly the biggest indication as to how the Oscar race for the Best Picture ends up.

WALLACE AND GROMIT: THE CURSE OF THE WERE-RABBIT was named Best Animated Feature by the PGA at last night's ceremony too. THE LIFE AND DEATH OF PETER SELLERS was named Best long-form TV show and finally the coolest show on TV, ENTOURAGE got some recognition after being named Best Comedy Series. Best TV Show went to the favourite, LOST.
