We've
just received some info on the upcoming LONDON FILM AND COMIC CON, which went
annual last year. There's a whole bunch of famous folk jetting into the capital
on the weekend of July 1st and 2nd, and headlining is Elijah Wood. Here's the

It’s
that time of year again when some of the biggest Film and Television stars from
around the world descend to the nation’s capital for the movie and media
event of the year.
On
the 1st and 2nd of July 2006, Showmasters will be holding their annual LONDON
FILM AND COMIC CON mega event in London’s very own Earls Court, and to start
things off with a bang we have signed up some of Hollywood’s biggest stars
of the moment, Elijah Wood, Carrie Fisher and Jorge Garcia as well as some of
the most recognised people from the big as well as the small screen,
There
will be over 30 movie stars, TV celebrities and comic book artists appearing over
the two days from a wide range of genres, big American blockbusters and cult TV
classics all signing autographs and meeting fans throughout the weekend.
Other
attractions include a massive dealers hall with 700 stands and specialist companies
from around Europe and the USA selling a wide range of merchandise. From replica
lightsabres and wands to original posters from the greatest classic films ever
made, toys, autographs, movies, replica swords, books, comics, cards, and even
original movie props and costumes, there will be everything to keep the big kid
in all of us happy!
It
will take a whole 2 days just to take everything in!
A
new element to the show this year is the opportunity to have a professional photograph
with some of the stars. Star of Lord of the Rings, Elijah Wood and Nathan Fillion
and Alan Tudyk of Serenity and Firefly fame are all taking part in this fabulous
opportunity for you to have an extra special keepsake to take home and make your
friends jealous!
The
London Film and Comic Con 2005 is like nothing else ever staged in this country
before, not just an excellent weekend out but an essential one!
