Star Wars theme to be released as a single

You can bet your ass that there's going to be a lot of articles for Revenge of the Sith appearing on the site in the coming weeks leading up to the release of the film on May 19th. Here's story #2 for today.

News reaches us that the theme for the latest Star Wars episode, by John Williams, will be released as a single, to co-incide with the third prequel's release. Sony BMG will release "Battle Of The Heroes" on May 23. The song depicts the fateful struggle between Jedi knight Anakin Skywalker and his mentor Obi-wan Kenobi.

The single will be released Worldwide and is pretty much guranteed to hit top ten listings everywhere, a rare thing for a classical piece.
