animated movies shortlisted for Oscar Posted

Ten
films are to comepte for this year's Best Animated Feature Oscar. The ten titles
will be whittled down to just three, which will be announced with all of the other
nominations at the end of January. The movies shortlisted are:Chicken Little,
Gulliver's Travels, Hoodwinked, Howl's Moving Castle, Madagascar, Robots, Steamboy,
Tim Burton's Corpse Bride, Valiant and Wallace & Gromit - The Curse of the
Were-Rabbit.
It's
also noted by the official Oscar website that
any of these films can also qualify to be nominated in the Best Picture category.
The
78th Academy Awards will be dished out at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood on March
5th, 2006.
