Deal or no Deal presenter Noel Edmonds has been nominated in this yera's prestigous National Television Awards. Edmonds, who has fronted the British version of the show since last year, is up for Most Popular Presenter and Most Popular Daytime Programme. He faces stiff competition from the likes of Paul O'Grady, Ant and Dec, Jonathan Ross, and Davina McCall in the 'presented' category.

Other big nominees include Ant and Dec, who are up for four awards, Celebrity Big Brothers's Chantelle Houghton, BB's Nikki Grahame and Pete Bennett and I'm A Celeb's Carol Thatcher are up for the best reality TV show star award, and Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks are all up for Most Popular Serial Drama.
