lovable young mystery solver Nancy Drew is back on the job, and she'll get some
help from a former teen idol on her latest case.

Leigh Cook. Who pretty much switched to indy projects or TV gigs since "Josie
& The Pussycats" swept the nation (…) will join Tate Donovan, Laura
Harring, Max Thierrot and Emma Roberts (Julia's niece) who plays the new Drew.
Already
in production in LA, "Nancy Drew: Mystery in Hollywood Hills" will see
Nancy interrupt a trip to California to follow clues to murder mystery involving
a movie star. Andrew Fleming (The Craft) directs on a script by first-timer Tiffany
Paulsen.
No word
yet on release dates, which is set for a theatrical run. Which is a first in decades
for Nancy Drew, after a bunch of TV movies and series.
