Two words: Roadhouse 2!

I very nearly pissed my pants when I first read about this one over at Variety. In fact, yes, there's definately something going on down there! Anyway, here's the thing. THERE'S GOING TO BE A ROADHOUSE 2!!! Good gief, the original is up there as one of my fave movies of all time, and Patrick Swayze just rocks as Dalton doesn't he?

"Road House 2" will be directed by Scott Ziehl; no writer has yet been attached to the project.

Yoram Pelman is producing the pic, which will take off where MGM's original Patrick Swayze starrer, about a tough bouncer hired to tame a dirty bar, left off.

I love the movie, and I love watching the Swayze doing Kelly Lynch to Otis Redding's 'These Arms of Mine' (which incidentally also features on the Dirty Dancing soundtrack, though I'm not sure he get's it on with Jennifer Grey to it).

Swayze has got to return, or maybe they'll go for someone.....taller?

The full story over at Variety also reveals that Sony are also planning a sequel to HOLLOW MAN, and a third sequel to I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER. Neal Moritz and Erik Feig will produce 'Summer' and Claudio Fah will direct HOLLOW MAN 2.
