APOCALYPSE
NOW is being re-released on DVD this August 15th in region one territories. This
time, both Apocalypse NOW and APOCALYPSE REDUX with be available for the first
time together in APOCALYPSE NOW - THE COMPLETE DOSSIER, which is loaded with special
features, including a commentary by Francis Ford Coppola as well as additional,
never-before-seen scenes.
Nominated
for eight Academy® Awards, Apocalypse now is a compelling Vietnam War epic
starring Martin Sheen as Captain Willard. Willard is sent on a dangerous and mesmerizing
odyssey into Cambodia to assassinate a renegade American Colonel named Kurtz (Marlon
Brando), who has succumbed to the horrors of war and barricaded himself in a remote
outpost. Robert Duvall, Laurence Fishburne, Dennis Hopper and Harrison Ford also
star.
