nominations for the Writers Guild of America awards have been announced. This
year, CINDERELLA MAN, THE 40 YEAR OLD VIRGIN, CRASH, GOOD NIGHT AND GOOD LUCK
and THE SQUID AND THE WHALE were nominated in the Best Original Screenplay category.
Best Adapted Screenplay nominations went to BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN, CAPOTE, THE CONSTANT
GARDENER, A HISTORY OF VIOLENCE and SYRIANA. These nominations can give an indication
of what the Oscar writing nominations can look like. 
Winners
