WICKER MAN is a remake of the classic British movie of the same name, a film thought
to be one of the greatest ever British horror movies of all time. Will LaBute's

Detective
Edward Malus (NICOLAS CAGE) flies to Summersisle, a remote island off the Washington
coast, following a lead in the search for his friend's missing daughter. The Summersisle
residents, living a seemingly idyllic, pastoral way of life are wary of the stranger
among them, and Malus very soon finds nothing on this mysterious island is what
it appears to be. As his search intensifies he discovers the terrifying truth
about their ancient belief system.
