Although
many actors have been publicly stoned in the past for being miscast as a truly
beloved real-life character (and I have cast the first stone many times…),
this one can rest easy - the resemblance is uncanny!
31-year-old
Matt Lucas, known as a scene stealer from hit show "Little Britain",
will portray legendary director Alfred Hitchcock, according to The Mirror. And
just to make him even more at ease, he'll be accompanied by Ewan McGregor.
The
still-unnamed-film will chronicle early years of the directors life, in London's
East End. One source for the trade commented the young man as being the perfect
choice, bar none. "Their physical similarities are uncanny and he is a big
fan of Hitch's movies. It's his first major film role and he's looking forward
to going on to the big screen."
