Here’s the trailer for an interesting-looking comedic action movie set for cinemas next year, Free Guy. This one comes to the screen from Night at the Museum helmer Shawn Levy from a story by Matt Lieberman and a screenplay by Lieberman and Zak Penn. Ryan Reynolds leads the impressive cast, which also includes Jodie Comer, Joe Keery, Lil Rel Howery, Utkarsh Ambudkar and Taika Waititi.
The synopsis is an interesting one. Reynolds plays a bank teller who discovers he is actually a background player in an open-world video game. He then decides to become the hero of his own story…one he rewrites himself. Now in a world where there are no limits, he is determined to be the guy who saves his world his way…before it is too late.
Expect this to be hugely entertaining. Free Guy will be released by 20th Century Fox next summer. Here’s the trailer.
