Fox Searchlight
The very first trailer for Benh Zeitlin’s highly anticipated Wendy has been released by Fox Searchlight. The film is a re-imagining of the Peter Pan story and comes from Zeitlin, the director of the stunning Beasts Of The Southern Wild.

The classic story of Peter Pan is wildly reimagined in this ragtag epic from Benh Zeitlin, director of BEASTS OF THE SOUTHERN WILD. Lost on a mysterious island where aging and time have come unglued, Wendy must fight to save her family, her freedom, and the joyous spirit of youth from the deadly peril of growing up.
The film is slated for a February 2020 release with word that it may head to some of the early year festivals. Possibly Berlin? That’s not confirmed in any way but it would make an ideal place to launch the movie.
