The first trailer for the upcoming Dark Waters has been released ahead of its release early next year.
Academy Award nominee Mark Ruffalo (Spotlight) and Oscar winner Anne Hathaway (Les Miserables) team up this riveting thriller.
The film is inspired by the shocking true story of a tenacious attorney (Ruffalo) who uncovers a dark secret that connects a growing number of unexplained deaths, due to one of the world’s largest corporations. In the process, he risks everything – his future, his family, and his own life – to expose the truth.
Dark Waters is directed by Oscar and Golden Globe nominee Todd Haynes (Far from Heaven, Carol) and stars a strong supporting cast including Tim Robbins, Bill Camp, Victor Garber, Mare Winningham, William Jackson Harper, and Bill Pullman. Ruffalo also steps into the producer’s role alongside Pamela Koffler and Christine Vachon.
Dark Waters will be in cinemas on January 2020. Here’s the first trailer.
